This authentication stage is a
gateway layer that controls who is allowed to access the chatbot user interface. It is
not connected to the chatbot’s internal user database.
After successfully signing in here, you will be prompted again inside the chatbot application to create or log into a
separate application account. These credentials are stored and managed independently.
For security reasons, it is
strongly recommended that you use a different username and password for the chatbot application than the ones used on this gateway page.
Session behaviour
This gateway uses a signed session cookie to remember your device. You will normally only see this page when:
- You open the site from a new device or browser
- You clear your cookies or site data
If your cookies are cleared, you can sign in again using the same gateway credentials.
Password recovery
This gateway does not currently support password resets. If you forget your gateway password, you will need to register again using a valid API invite key.
